    Default two over pair hands

This one is a toughie IMO. He played it quite like a monster.

Second is quite difficult as well.

Any streets I should've played these hands differently? My table image is Laggy as usual. Others are quite weak/passive, not particularly loose or tight.

i agree on hand 1. I guess though looking at that flop you have to call with it being all unders. Im making the same play assuming that my jacks are good on the turn. If he has QQ/KK/AA or a set i guess you pay him here?
    i thought you'd been rivered though !!

Hand 2 is more difficult. He calls the flop bet then checks the turn. i cant see him calling you with a gutshot so unless he has a set then im again assuming im still good here, again im tempted to push here. Again i cant see the 8 improving his hand much thus hes just betting the cards on the table. Im calling here.

I want to say the 2nd hand is a busted flush draw bluff.

though that 10 scares me for some reason.

maybe a set, but I think you're good here.

First hand is strange indeed with that random bet out of nowhere. Its going to depend on reads. I notice that when they suddenly bet out of nowhere, they have hit something a good amount of the time. However, when people try to stand up to lags and buy pots, they do weird things like this so I'm gonna call and see what happens on the river since you've got position. The only real hand I can fathom is 56, maybe of diamonds. The turn gives him a pair and a flush to go along with the oesd.

Second hand, I fold. One to the straight, he bet 80, let him have it. I agree that it does look like a busted flush draw, but how often is your hand going to have to be good here to call this? Barring a strong read, I think you can let this one go. Does he min-bet on draws? Looking again...it looks strongly like a flush chaser. Fuck it, I fold. He probably accidentally hit something.

edit - checked results, nice job on the first hand. you wanted to end the hand now and shut out any semi-bluffish hands that he picked up on the turn and you won the pot. gonna have to pat myself on the back on this one even though your push was better- 56 wasn't too far off at all. But considering the fact that there is only one 5 of diamonds, I take the pat on my back back.

#1 I didnt want him a chance to hit anything because the board was really draw heavy and his stack wasnt that big compared to the pot anyways.

#2 getting 2-1 with an overpair is tempting but he had been passive and his sudden aggression made me think I was beat. He didnt seem like the kind of guy who calls with 69s or similar but I thought there was a good chance he had a set or he hit TJ for 2 pair. I folded.
