    Default Typical toppair hand OOP

Opp seems like a very loose player (VPIP 50) and I've caught him making weird postflop bluffs a couple of times.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($103.90)
    BB ($77.03)
    UTG ($289.15)
    MP ($117.70)
    Button ($107)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, Q. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
3 folds, Hero (poster) raises to $3.5, BB calls $3.

    Flop: ($8) A, 5, J (2 players)
Hero bets $6, BB calls $6.

    Turn: ($20) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $6, Hero calls $6.

    River: ($32) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $8.72, Hero calls $8.72.

    Final Pot: $49.44

Against these donks, I'm potting flop and potting turn here. Make him pay for whatever draw he's willing to see a flop with. The river sucks, but by the time it comes he's only going to have like $37 behind and if he has the flush GG. If he likes to bluff I check the river and let him bluff me.

Another line could be to checkraise the turn but I imagine he doesn't call much with that.

Against these guys you can play TPTK like the nuts until they raise you.

Blind vs Blind against this guy, I have no problems with playing a really big pot.

If I'm not betting the turn, I'm re-raising to around $30. His small bet is validation that he likely has a weak made hand. The rest goes in on any river.

I think a turn c/r would be sexy here as well.

Check-raise the turn against aggressive players who float too much, not passive calling stations like this guy who only bet 1/4 of the pot if they bet at all.

    100 NL players don't float.

    jeff,

some of the regulars do though. I agree about the donks though, they just call all the way down with middlepair, they do not float.
