Default Update + One semi-interesting hand

I have one semi-interesting hand from last night’s session. I don’t have much information on the player, he seems to be a solid TAG from my little knowledge and is multi-tabling $100 NL. I doubled my stack from him several hands earlier when I induced a bluff with him being OOP, he then left the table and sat in position to me and has been 3-betting my position raises light.

This is the hand in question:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    saw flop|saw showdown

    MP ($100)
    CO ($54.80)
    n3wbs ($219.15)
    upaymymtg ($99)
    BB ($112.25)
    UTG ($180.70)

    Preflop: n3wbs is Button with J, A.
    2 folds, n3wbs raises to $3.5, upaymymtg raises to $12.5, 1 fold, n3wbs calls $8.50.

    Flop: ($25.50) A, K, J (3 players)
    upaymymtg bets $17, n3wbs calls $17.

    Turn: ($59.50) 5 (3 players)
    upaymymtg bets $70 (All-In), n3wbs calls $70.

    River: ($199.50) J (3 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: $199.50

    ---

My thought process with this hand is that it would be bad to get it all in on the flop, as I am basically an underdog or very slight favourite to the hands I put villain on; AxQh or QQh. This is a tight range considering I mentioned he is 3-betting me light.

I decided to re-evaluate the turn and push/call an AI with any non heart or scary turn.

    Criticism appreciated.

Your reads are very important here. The flop is good I think.
I don't think villain will bet that amount on either the flop or turn with AK or pocket A's, K's, J's, so a FD is likely.
Any bet on the turn commits him though, so the slightly overbet isn't that weird.

It's a difficult hand, but with that money already in the pot and the likely FD you have to call i guess

Its a W/A or W/B situation. MinSim, I think the Villain is likely to play AA/KK and JJ this way, maybe not AK. Another holding could be AQ or QQ with the Q of hearts.

If he's been three betting you a lot, his range could be a lot wider than this. BUT he is OOP on this hand, so I think you should stick to a fairly narrow range.

Given our fairly tight range its a fold, you're getting roughly 3:1 but need about 4:1. I suppose if you think he may be bluffing its closer, but if he's half decent I doubt he's 3-betting a much wider range OOP.
