wondering where the 3 extra chairs at my 6max table came from

Default was this just plain spew?

Vil was 20/11/1.6. Didn't get much from him flatting my 3-b pre from the button. On the flop raise, I had his range at a TPTK/TPGK + maybe combo, JT combo, of course 55,99. With the FD on the board, my thought was push/fold -- figured I had a good enough hand to push.

I'm using $10nl as an oppty to really work on my pushing skills. Have tended to not do it much in the past. Seems I'm getting better at picking the wrong spots tho'...

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (5 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero bets $2.25, Button raises to $5.5, Hero raises to $8.9 (All-In), Button calls $3.40.

As played you have to shove, but I'd make the flop bet much smaller ~ 2/3 pot or even a bit less. The reason being is that if he raises you aren't committed enough to never fold. If he minraises you when you bet 1.3 instead, you have much more room to evaluate the situation.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

Make it $1.35 preflop, I'm going broke here too most likely.

fine, to many draws out there to fold, if it was a rainbow flop id be alot more worried, and your flop bet is fine.

To put it plainly: when you have put in more than 10% of your stack preflop and make any reasonable bet on the flop, you are not looking to fold ever on this board, except against the nittiest of nits running a very strong line. If the flop has an ace on it or is all one suited or is 9TJ, we can start talking about damage control. But basically, after the preflop raise and any reasonable lead bet on this flop, you should welcome the opportunity to get all the chips in, and realize that when you lose it's the exception and not the rule.
