I bet 25 to make it look like i was trying to steal the pot, thinking this would get called more than a 2/3 or 1/2pot value bet

Rivr c/r is very weird, would he do this with a monster even after i checked the turn?

Any reads? I'd bet the turn most times. You give up too much value by checking turn here imo. River, ugh, I'd probably pay this off.

This doesn't apply nearly as often as you'd think it would, esp if there has been no history. Most people will just play straigh-up here, and treat bigger bets more seriously than smaller ones.

What do you mean you're checking the turn for "pot control?" You have a fairly strong hand relative to the board. Bet it.

    apunisher,

FYI I check the turn a lot for pot control etc., but this is not the board to do it on. To many hands that you beat will call your turn bet. River I call, the action on turn and river is just a tad to strange for me to put him on a better hand than me.

Yeah, any reads at all would help. Obviously this guy is retarted since he limps UTG. The King really complicates things because he could have hit with KJ. However, this river action is rarely a weak hand based on the prior streets. He check raises your large river bet? People who limp UTG are usaully passive players. I think you are toast often here but laying down Aces with your equity is very tough so pay him off.

lol - you are right. I was trying to create a read out of nothing since we never got one. This fits a low PPs action.
