    Default weird hand vs unknown.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (5 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    BB ($267.50)
    UTG ($478.50)
    Hero ($211.60)
    Button ($215.90)
    SB ($205.65)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, 8.
1 fold, Hero raises to $6, 2 folds, BB calls $4.

    Flop: ($13) 8, 7, 2 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $10, BB calls $10.

    Turn: ($33) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $22, BB calls $22.

    River: ($77) 4 (2 players)
    BB bets $72

he was 6/0 through 18 hands, which basically means nothing, but its enough for me to think he isnt really loose PF. this just seems like such a f.o.s. line to me. he called the first two streets quickly, and then bet the river so fast it almost knocked me out of my seat.

56, 9T, and missed spades are the only hands that make sense. way more combos of possible spades than him exactly having 56. i call here w/out much thought expecting to have the best hand enough of the time.

also ... we all know, fast calls indicate a weak marginal made hand or a draw, if he shows up w/ 56 here .. more power to him.

yeah just call. you don't have enough info on him to fold and there are a billion missed draws.

it's a std donk bluff line -- "i know, i'll just check call a couple times and if i miss... i'll just BLUFF! YES! It's WIN WIN baby!"

Checking behind the turn makes this hand so much easier to play. As played I guess sigh and call.

I think betting the turn is better than checking behind:
    - It often earns u a free river
    - It charges draws
    - If u get raised on turn u can safely fold, and u don't have to play guessing games on river when checked through and he donks out
(- It helps u balance doublebarreling this turn with air/nut hands)

i bet the turn for just about every reason andypandy said. i bet it with the intention of checking behind the river.

I usually get shown a hand here and would feel a lot better about calling a smaller bet. That said, he's unknown and I'm inclined to make a -EV call to see what he's up to.
