Default Weird PF decision vs. Tourney Donk

I was in some $5 rebuy donkament, this guy calls my preflop push for half his stack with K-rag and sucks out and says "yessss" and calls me a fish..

So I naturally I call him out for fun and profit. After spending about 10 mins trying to talk shit without coming to play HU, one excuse being that 50NL is too low for him, he sits down after I tell him that I'll play him at any stakes.

This guy is a standard tourney donk/fish; overvalues one pair, makes melodramatic calldowns if I check the flop, and makes these strange kooky moves which seem to bare no relation to his hole cards (like check/minraising flop w/ middle pair and then checking it down all the way). His usual raise sizes have been 3.5xbb.

This, like, the 2nd hand I played against him or something:-

Dealer: Starting a new hand (#666449601)
Dealer: galpal12 posts Small Blind $0.25
Dealer: R3sistance posts Big Blind $0.50
    Dealer: Dealing cards
    Dealer: Your cards :Qd: :Ad:
    Dealer: galpal12 raises $0.75
    Dealer: R3sistance raises $3
    Dealer: galpal12 raises $5
    Dealer: R3sistance calls $2.50

    Dealer: Dealing Flop
    :Qh: :Jc: :Qs:
    Dealer: R3sistance bets $8
    Dealer: galpal12 calls $8

    Dealer: Dealing Turn
    :Ts:
    Dealer: R3sistance checks
    Dealer: galpal12 checks

    Dealer: Dealing River

    Dealer: R3sistance bets $19
    Dealer: galpal12 goes All-in $35.85
    Dealer: R3sistance calls $16.85

He mucks 99, tilts for about 10 hands then chills the fuck out; playing fairly tight slow drip-drip stackoff, I think he loses another $40 or so.

    Onto the hand; 100BB effective.

    WTF?

    a) I have so little invested
    b) I'll prolly destack him in a more +EV spot
    c) My hand isn't actually that good stove-wise
    d) He'll fold quite a few shitty hands because I need total strength to come over the top of a raise that big
    e) He's not yet shown me a premium, he's not yet raised this big
    f) I have AQ vs. a tourney donk, why am I thinking?

well, if you call and he stacks you, you can guarantee he'll hit and run. However, folding will encourage his behavior, and that's good.

I fold and try and get him to do that on the flop with me, when I have a made hand.

I dont see why you'd call this. You're making good money off him. He may have crap, or he may think this is his chance to get all his money back with AA. I'd fold and keep taking his money the way you have been.
Just dipping my toes back in.

Why did you check the turn against this bozo in the first hand?

In the second hand, I wouldn't play pre-flop poker with him quite yet. He calls in some terrible spots and I'd like to exploit that.

if you have the bankroll and dont mind gambling a bit, give it a call. you likely ahead 65%

Given the way you described a guy, I call very quickly. It is +EV spot, you are ahead of his range, so your f) option is a good argument to me.

And why did you check turn in the first hand?

Although I would love to see a flop, sadly it's pointless. Just encourage this behavior and either you'll take all his money in other spots or he'll do this when you have a premium hand.
