We could well have the best hand, but he could well have a bad set..

I normally call planning to c/c most rivers but I always pussy out and end up c/fing..

Which is why I think a fold is ok here, implied threat can be a bitch.

Maybe, just maybe I call and block the river though.

It's a value check. cbetting basically just makes better hands call and worse hands fold give or take. By checking I'm assuming a slightly higher risk in the hopes that I can extract more value from his middle pair type hands and possibly induce him to bluff into me. Of course by doing this I sometimes end up in shit spots. Hence the post.
