    Default What am I DOING!?

I feel like I'm an ATM tonight. Paying off with trips, no kicker to a better kicker. Not to mention like 2 million hands with strong hands vs short stacks where they outflopped my 2 pair or whatever.

Anyway, do you find a fold here? I think I should have, and I want to get some other opinions. Villian is a donk, but not enough hands for stats yet.
Shown down some stupid hands with stupid kickers.

    Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    Hero ($67.69)
    BB ($34.15)
    UTG ($30.10)
    MP ($122.23)
    Button ($53.40)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, Q. Hero posts a blind of $0.25.
3 folds, Hero (poster) completes, BB checks.

    Flop: ($1) 8, J, T (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.5, Hero raises to $3, BB calls $2.50.

    Turn: ($7) 8 (2 players)
    Hero checks, BB checks.

    River: ($7) Q (2 players)
Hero bets $5, (Hand converter sucks balls, donk pushes), Hero calls $25.65.

    Final Pot: $37.65

Was gonna double check-raise that turn, but the result would have been the same. I was trying to get my money in the pot.

I'm just swinging a lot at 6-max. Still winning...I just do whatever Fnord says, and he says play here.

bet turn, and check call a a reasonable bet on the river. Even against a donkey the way the hand played out you are never going to be ahead, and quite often behind.

I dont like the flop CR, at all. That shuts down so many hands you would otherwise get called with. Unless, of course, you are doing that with a lot of hands especially against him.

I C/R a lot, yes, but this guy hadn't been here long. I usually console myself with "he would have called it all off on the flop anyway."

What is the purpose of check-raising? You win one more small bet when he has nothing, and lose a bunch of value when he's stronger. Just hope he has two pair or a set and lead out on the flop. You make much more with your powerful hands by making the weak pot-building play rather than the strong one.
