lol, I'd bet you otherwise if there was a way to make the bet non-exploitable.

The flop action suggests hero is crushed.

I doubt you're ahead but you only need to be ahead like 40% of the time here to make this a profitable call. Since the bet is so small you call even though he's probably ahead.

why would a 2pair or set not put in a raise anywhere?

Most made hands above TP usually start trying at the turn to get money in.

Given the stakes and unknown opponent, there is both a chance of this or the chance of the 8 not being as blank as it looks. I'm still inclined to call, but I think people are too quick to say it looks like a busted flush draw when practice says I rarely see them played like this.

I think i Call. I think you'll see a set or something like two pair a lot here. Everyone saying how two pair or a set would raise, yes most would, but a lot of donks like to "slowplay" then jam the river for some reason. I've seen it before even with 3 to a flush on board.

While i think most of us are too quick to jump to the conclusion of busted flush draw. Given you only have to be right 40 percent or so and theres a decent amount in the pot, and he could easily be on aq, busted flush draw etc, so i call.

I wouldn't be surprised if he showed 88 or some other set really, but i think i still call this.

alright, since all of us are calling because it's 1/2 pot bet.

can we still call against the same guy if he bets full pot?

i think i can fold to that.
