Not the greatest turn card, it's hard to keep bluffing against a decent opponent when the ace hits. I'd probably check-fold here if he was a fairly tight player. Reads would help though.

What I meant was that a tight player would have probably folded a weak hand like overcards/small pairs, so he probably has some kind of real hand here. And if he doesn't suck he won't be scared of the ace. If he has something we beat like 88 or worse he probably checks the turn as well hoping for a showdown. I don't see him folding TT+ to a turn bet here.

why not? i think it makes sense for him to think we have trips because we bet without being scared of the ace.

I don't see him giving Hero credit for a 5 with his TAG image. His raise looks like some kind of pocket pair that wants to see if their hand is any good.

didnt he bust you calling a big reraise with 97c? i wouldn't be so sure of his TAG image.

but even if the villian is aware of hero being a tag, thats just more reason for him to marginal hand because he doesn't have a reason to think he would get out of line

Lol, no comment. Even though he did call a reraise with 97c that does not mean anything. I'm pretty sure his call was somewhat ego driven, didn't want to get bluffed out of the pot, especially since he knows my range is huge since I know he is a good player. He definitely is a solid TAG player, and I think that's what his table image generally is.

Seriously though, villain never will give hero credit for trip fives here. Trying to represent that is silly. We're just hoping he doesn't have a hand and folds, you know that.

I don't see how you can except TT not to be good here if you're villain a large majority of the time.
