Default What do you do in these spots?

Is this a mandatory cbet spot on this flop. For whatever reason I wimped out on it and decided to make my stand on the turn. Bad idea? Can I bet this river or do I check behind.

I'm pretty new to the table, but the lobby stats suggest the table is loose/passive(almost 60% to the flop).

    Starting game 1785481452.

SmokingChris is at seat 0 with $50.
    alban999 is at seat 1 with $30.20.
Davidouch is at seat 2 with $137.80.
    the_1337 is at seat 3 with $43.
Trashcona is at seat 4 with $48.65.
marinacci is at seat 5 with $58.59.

    The dealer is seat 1.

Davidouch posts a blind of $.25.
    the_1337 posts a blind of $.50.

    (Trashcona is dealt Qs Qd.)

    Pre-flop:
    Trashcona raises $1.50.
    marinacci folds.
    SmokingChris folds.
    alban999 calls for $2.
    Davidouch calls for $1.75.
    the_1337 folds.

    The flop comes
    Kh 7d Kc.

    Davidouch checks.
Trashcona checks. (this feels wrong not to bet?)
    alban999 checks.

    The turn comes Ks. (pot=$6.00-rake)

    Davidouch bets $3.
    Trashcona raises $6.
    alban999 folds.
    Davidouch calls for $6.

    The river comes 10h. (pot=$24.00-rake)

    Davidouch checks.
    Trashcona ??

You get more value from weaker hands by checking.

If you're gonna raise the turn, RAISE. That minraise is silly. I definitely bet the river for value here. Only the case K and AA beat us, both unlikely.

Yeah, take a stab at the flop. As played, value bet probs 12-15.

Just so you know, that's a 3xbet. I raised to 9.00, which was the size of the pot before I raised. Everest HH's are kind of weird to read. Is this still to small?

i like a flop check call a turn bet (providing the baord isnt too flushy) and then consider a river minraise depending on what the board does. I think too many poor average players will look up that line with mid pairs etc.
checking the flop is pretty standard most of the time, but you need to bet here sometimes for sure.

Seriously, even if he did min-raise the turn, it's fine.

If your opponent is a spew monkey, calling the turn and min-raising the river is really sexy.

yeah i actually like a check on the flop in these spots. I think it will get you more value, and theres really only 1 scare card (an ace) that could kill your action.

Although the min raise is bad against good people. If your opponent is really bad i guess i don't mind it. It just seems to me to represent too much strength without getting much value out of it. (nvm it looks like u said u raised 9, seems ok to me especially against bad opponents)

On the river, it seems like he has a 7 so i would vbet like 13-18ish and hope for a call.

Overall i like how you played it and you prolly got max value for it. I think against a solid player though you should normally just call the turn bet and put in a good size raise on the river.
