Im just curious, what is your hand range when in the big blind in a shorthanded game and some donk raises the minimum preflop? say you just posted a big blind of $1 and someone makes it $2 from MP and theres one or two callers before you.

any 2 if stacks are deep enough.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

would that go for the SB too? with alot of limpers before you and you dont think the BB will re-raise

Not exactly, I am very tight out of the blinds due to being out of position. I'll limp suited connectors, suited aces, sometimes hands like 78o and other decent hands, but total garbage I fold. Compare this to call a raise from the BB against the SB who we have position over, a lot of times a call with any decent hand is a profitable play here.

If they're minraising preflop then they're probably bad, and so your implied odds alone probably justify a call with everything outside of complete rags.

I play any connector, any suited and the rest of the regular hands.

I still keep away from big-little hands and total trash.

Closing the action with 6 or 8 to 1 is nice vs a poor player.
