dude why are you calling his flop minraise that was obviously the uber-bluff

he's actually dislexic.. and thought that he'd entered a $10 sng, and upon realising that it was a $1000.. he thought it would be best if he got out quickly before losing money......

my only guess (other than misreading a straight) is that after his reraise "bluff" on the river failed, he admited defeat and gave you his last 140 chips. Theres no point in him folding really if he's left with so few chips.

Why? Folding at least leaves him with some remote possibility of winning the tournament, while calling ensures he'll lose.

I'd rather fold then push the next however many hands in a row in the dark pre flop until i got a call and could race, even as a 3:1 underdog, then call off the last 140 chips with 9 high .

Oh, and no, I don't give him credit for sticking to his guns. There comes a point in a hand where if the player is clearly acting like he's something other than your read of him, you need to re-evaluate that read and maybe put him on something else, like trip 6's with ace. My guess, he's just learning with a huge inharritance from his rrich grandfather or something.
