Default What would you do with this set?

This was my 5th or 6th hand at the table and I didn't have a good read on somatik215 yet.

    dont minraise flop.

ill push that turn. smells like weak overpair or top 2 to me.

bigger reraise on the flop. i would make it at least 12 $ to go.. turn is a scare card, obviously fills a straight.

you have to reraise hard on the flop to keep people from drawing.

Raise bigger on the flop. Regardless, push the turn. You're probably winning. If it turns out he made some retarded gutshot, you still have good outs to fill up... but it looks to me like you're winning this hand already. I'd put somatik on an overpair or flush draw. Maybe something like pocket 8s, for the draw/overpair combo pack.

I realized quickly after I made the raise on the flop that it was too weak. Definitely a part of my game that I need to improve.

With a straight draw and a flush draw on that flop, I'm raising big. Like $12-15 big. You want to make it expensive for both players to call.

Regardless, I think you should push that turn.

Call. He might have hit a retarded gutshot with those calls before the flop...but probably not.

And if he did and the board pairs, you're getting all his money. Let the next card come. I think he has 76.

Here is the entire hand. I decided to push the turn. The player had hit a straight with the 6 on the turn. I returned the favor by catching a 7 on the river.
