    Default What your calling range?

On all hand hero is IP, raise preflop and get called by an unknown villain. Hero cbet flop, turn checks through, villain leads river.....what’s the worst hand you call?

    1) 7 8 Q 2 3

    2) 7 8 Q 2 J

    3) 7 7 Q 2 9

    4) 7 7 Q 2 K

this is pretty meaningless unless you provide the exact positions of the players involved, the size of the cbet, the size of the river lead, and general stakes. come on now...
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

    Well, I guess you're right on that. Let's take a situation;
    - 6max 100NL
    - Hero is playing like 20/15, raises from MP
    - Villain is BB, playing like 25/15/2 but not over a very large sample, something like 50-75 hands.
    - No particular history
    - We raise preflop 4x, cbet 60-95% psb depending on drawyness of the board.
    - River bet from villain is 75% psb

which cards are shared? This question seems a bit silly.

I don't really get what you mean by shared cards. You mean in history?

I guess this thread kinda failed. I just wanted to start something about relative handstrength, because I think I have my calling standards too high. (basically meaning I think I'm too weak tight in these spots)

What this post was trying to accomplish is a discussion about dry boards versus drawy boards, and how our calling ranges change on it.

    - If you look at the 4 boards, number 1 is very drawy with the river blanking, so villain could have a lot of missed draws.
    - Number 2 is the same until the river, where some of the draws hit.
    - Number 3 is very dry.
    - Number 4 is pretty lol because when I look over it again I don't know why I added that one.

If anyone knows other ways to cover this subject, I'm all ears. I know I'm trying to cover a very broad topic that isn't really to be covered in once. Posting HH's is always such situationally dependant. (of course it is because poker is). But there's always a standard to work from, and we make adjustments based on the situational factors.
This was just an attempt to approach a situation from concept to situational, instead of situational to maybe concept (as the conceptual level often isn't reached, imo).

i mean which cards are the community cards and which are the hole cards. Im assuming youre playing unlimited hold them in which case 3 and 4 are the same hand if we hold 77. And if we Q9 in 3 I really dont get the thread.

oh ok now i get it. You mean whats the worst hand we call on each of those boards...

    My comprehension skills suck

pelion thats the final board in each example, hero and villains hole cards arent listed. thats kinda the point to say what your calling range is on each board if villain is leading.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

    1 - A hi

    2 - Qx

    3 - TT

    4 - read his soul
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

As above except 3. I see no reason villain would play anything other than a 7 or a Q or PP on that board, unless I already have reads. So my answer is TPGK

this is very general but i would say:
    1: K hi
    2-4: KQ
