    Default What's Hero's next move?

This guy was very loose pre and post flop and just lost a big hand w/ KK so I figured he may possibly be on tilt. Obviously he's not very good if he's betting $1 on the river. What is the best move here?

You might be overdoing it with that large of a bet. I'd probably bet about $25 since he just called $19. You want to get paid here, not push him out of the pot.

eh good point. i thought pot/overpot bet might induce a call but probably not. 2/3 pot seems ok, but that's still 40ish? halfpot seems kind of weak, but since its reraising a weak bet, i guess that's ok.

It seems like he wants to showdown Kx/QQ/JJ. So make it 1/2 pot. AK plays differently.

so what's the right amount in situations like these to pretty much force the opp to call, even though they probably know they are behind.

OK. Now what? I'm thinking AK and there is a remote chance of a higher set or 79.

This depends on what your opponent thinks is a strong hand. He thinks he is strong. He was begging for a raise on the river. He wants a call.
I think it is 50/50 a poorly played AK or an AA/KK. I may fold here. I could even see a donk turning over 9 7
Why didn't you raise the $5 flop bet to $20? That would help a little here.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

The board looked harmless enough to let him see another card that may improve his hand so I can get paid off.

I was playing all sets fast until recently because it seems a little transparent to do it all the time
    AND
Calling raises w/ mid PPs and then getting folds on the flop in a small pot mixed with all the times you miss can't be +EV.

I very rarely see a $1 bet be used as a check-raise. It's usually somebody hoping you just call or raise small. It's a horrible blocking bet. He beat me with rippy
