I'm seriously thinking about a turn fold. Think about his range here and how many turn cards other than a King you'll be happy to see. Basically if you call the turn you're hoping to go check/check/scoop on the river or spike a King and put a lot of money into the pot.

If this hand was after a few orbits with villain and I thought he was a decent player and not laggy then I could see the turn fold. I should mention this was on a weekend where there are so many random players popping in and out of tables. I just cant give the same range to a random weekend unknown and a normal 100NL player. Thats just the turn, what about river? Im guessing ur going with fold this to unknown.

This is such a STD set line for most players $100NL and under that I would almost bet anything he has exactly that. Stack a donk lines should not get paid in non 3bet pots. If you can't get a ton of money in pre OOP then control is a better option. If you really want a showdown C/C the turn so you can get to showdown without stacking off to only better hands. Even laggs are not stacking off here with A9.

This seems interesting, but I'm not sure I get you. Do you want to elaborate?

i think river is a clear fold because you're only beating a bluff, but i dont think i have it in me to fold the turn on this board. too many terrible weekend players would play a pair + FD like this.

jyms check/calling this turn is pretty terrible on this board. i mean at that point in the hand all we know is villain floated a pretty innocuous flop.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.
