Default This is why I don't like raising AXs after limpers

Villain is typical for Poker Room skin: 52/10/1.8
Aggression numbers progressively get larger from the flop to river.

    Poker Room skin
    No Limit Holdem Ring game
    Blinds: $0.50/$1
    4 players
    Converter

    Stack sizes:
    UTG: $140.25
    Button: $94.00
    Hero: $113.60
    BB: $28.80

    Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is SB with A 9
UTG calls, Button folds, Hero raises to $5, BB folds, UTG calls.

    Flop: 8 A 7 ($11, 2 players)
    Hero bets $9, UTG calls.

    Turn: T ($29, 2 players)
    Hero ????

What is my plan now? c/f, c/c, b/f??

i thought these hands were best when raised with position?
Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.

Against someone limping in 52% of the time I think A9s is good enough for a raise.

I wouldn't raise this from the SB. As played though, you have top pair and an OE straight draw, I bet.

check, because you can (look like) you are bluffing the river if you hit and like your hand enough to show it down on the river a lot.
Also, you cannot stand a raise if you bet despite the relative strength of your hand and its showdown value versus a fish

It's fine. Bet/fold turn. You're ahead a lot and definitely get called by worse.

Because there's value and he's not going to raise us off our hand unless we're beat. Checking is pretty bad imo.
    Check out the new blog!!!

    Turn: T ($29, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $20, Hero ???

I didnt realize I had a OESD until after I checked.
I probably would have bet here if I wasnt 8-tabling 5max

    So, now what... easy fold?

flattin ur 4bets, makin u tilt
standard limp preflop and c/c turn>>>bet/fold. There arent three streets of value, we have significant equity no matter what he's got and if you check turn and make a solid bet on a blank river he's paying off with T9 and Ax for sure.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

I think it's possible we get 3 streets of value from a 52/10 with A6->A2 here, but if we're only getting 2 then I want to take it now before a J,9,6 or 3rd heart falls. And T9/98/65 are always calling a turn bet but might check behind and fold to a river bet if they don't hit.
