Default This is why i hate checking flops...

Maybe this decision is easier than i think. Villain is 45/16/2.6 over over 100 hands. I haven't seen him bluff yet, although i've been in a lot of pots with him in the last 20 hands and i think i took all of them down without showdown.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    SB ($156.10)
    BB ($346)
    Hero ($433.40)
    MP ($201.40)
    CO ($403.80)
    Button ($225.30)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, Q.
Hero raises to $14, 1 fold, CO calls $14, 3 folds.

    Flop: ($34) K, 5, Q (2 players)
    Hero checks, CO checks.

    Turn: ($34) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $24, CO calls $24.

    River: ($82) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $82, Hero

I think I call here.. what can he have!? he's a donk.. so his calling range on the turn is so large, esp after you checked the flop. I can't see what strong hand would check flop.. flat call turn and then bet pot on river.

Maybe some weird rivered two pair, but I c/c anyhow agaainst someone running 45/16/2.6. Call and see JT hopefully.. or somethin like that.

I dont think he has a K, but these donks often get there with some backdoor str8 or flush and full pot river.

If there was a FD on flop and it missed on river I'd call for sure. Here I guess we do beat TJ but thats pretty much it.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

I agree, checking flops when you have raised and hit something is bad... especially on a board with 2 broadway cards. ROI can be bad say if the ace hits and villain re-raises you... shitty spot

and with a loose player, he can hit 2p on turn or river and you'd have a hard time telling since he plays trash

    1. board thats unlikely for our opponent to draw out.
    2. increased likely hood of two streets of value
    3. increasing opps bluffing frequency

idk those were my reasons why i liked it, but i guess versus better opponents it makes no sense (which can be a good thing if we are bluffing here)

Not a very well thought out one. I just kinda felt like it since i thought that hands like 66-TT, 5x wouldn't call a flop cont bet but would call a turn bet if i checked the flop. + there's no scare cards.

he can't lead the flop he's in position... i'm guessing you mean if he bets. I call and revaluate the turn, probably folding to good sized bet.
