WTF is going on

Pf is usually a raise but the guys in the blinds were donkish for the 1st 30mins or so at this table so I've been calling this villain's open-raises and looking forward to playing multi-way pots in position.

Now the donks are gone (and have transferred me some money) but villain still probably thinks of me as cally preflop. I call TT+ in position quite a bit when this dynamic exists between me and a taggy villain and look to get tricky postflop just so they know that they can't always put me on a marginal hand when I don't 3-bet.

Anyways, enough justification for preflop. I'd have raised the flop and looked to get it in if he were tilting or spewing but I don't think he's playing badly and won't be getting it in with worse on this board.

Wtf is going on here on the turn? He is 22/18/3 over a medium sample. We haven't had any big confrontations and I haven't seen him overbet yet :

He's not paying enough attention or is good enough to think he needs to adjust to something you may or may not have seen him do.

Weird large bets are usually weakness. OP is a snap fist if we recall the second hand during, but even without I think it's a call. His line is simply just too stupid to give a lot of credit.

Also, since you didn't raise pf raise flop imo.

hmmm for those who missed it I was in position getting open-shoved into in the OP

I've only seen this line a couple of times, and each time it was a weak hand who thought opp (you in this case) was drawing and REALLY didnt want you to call and suckout.

Of course thats over not many hands and lower limits...

In this case it can be a super wide range of things since this guy is an unknown but it's enough worse that this is a call.

btw if the villain had any kind of read that the preflop raiser in hand 2 (where he shipped Td8d on KT7 with a single diamond on board) is taggy and capable of folding AK/KQ or even bluff-raising, I think it's kind of awesome.

i think he expects you to have <AT and call. one thing is 22/18 is less likely to overbet as a bluff than like 30/15, and i don't see overbet bluffs much either way at (ub) 1-2. the other is if a thinking player is playing a "cally" villain...they prob expect a call. also there aren't many draws out. and if i knew about the T8dd hand i would raise the flop smallish and call all in.
