wtf nit (december stats)

I was already running nitty at 50nl, and am now even tighter at 100nl. I don't feel like i'm playing tighter, but the numbers don't lie, and I'm less the half the winrate I was at 50nl. (small sample i know.)

My VPIP/pfr (for 100nl) from the button to UTG are:

16/14
14/13
12/12

Do you think I can get more value by increasing my range on the button, or should I loosen up from all positions? (even UTG?)

One thing that I noticed when I moved up levels is that I tightned up because I didn't feel comfortable because of the size of my bankroll. So I went back down and waited till I got a bigger bankroll. Could that be the case with you?

I think you should loosen up a bit on the button and cutoff, I raise a wide range like any ace, anything suited / connected when it's folded to me on the button. My range is practically any two if the blinds are tight.

I'm pretty tight utg, similar to your stats. Overall I wouldn't worry about being too tight as long as you're winning.

I agree with aisle here, I personally am looser UTG [16/16] but that isnt going to make a huge difference; however, OTB and in CO you should be loosening up a good amount. Your winrate is pretty marginal, and although its over a small sample, you still should be shooting for something higher. Making those changes to your game by opening up in LP will definitely help you win more.

def. loosen up in the CO and especially on the button. Position is huuuge in this game, you know it, but your stats tell us that it seems that you've forgot this fundamental rule.

UTG and MP is fine, I like being tight in EP as well.

One thing that you might notice in moving up stakes is that a higher percentage of players will open-raise more often from earlier positions. If you are uncomfortable playing your position behind a looser raiser, you might tend to fold marginal hands more often, thus reducing your VP$IP.

I wouldn't expect the difference to be that great between $50 and $100, but who knows. I have seen this effect on my game when moving from $200 to $400 and $600.

IF this is what is happening to you, you will need to play your position a little more aggressively. IOW, float more often and three-bet light more often against the looser raisers.
