    getting my swell on
ugh that is really sick. its so hard to lay anything down vs. a 46/6/3. there is no way i could get myself to actually click fold here, one of my many flaws. i talk myself into thinking he could have a set or 2 pair also, but i think the correct move is a fold.

It looks like a fold, although you will get shown something like 64 here once in a blue moon.

What was your thought process with regards to not blocking?

Even an idiot knows that the turn is a great card to bluff. I just can't fold in these spots.

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

A deviation for standard timing is usually a good thing we you have a hand.

If we aren't folding then why not block the river?

prob cuz blocking the riv loses all the money from calling his bluffs

Well what's the point in this hand then? If you checked to induce a bluff, you got what you wanted, snapcall. You certainly can't raise on the river. If you're debating between call/folding then block it. Or is this retarded thinking?

i dunno i just thought that it was a gross spot so I posted it wondering what other ppl would do vs this type of villain with the timing observations I had made

i called the turn cuz i was getting odds to fill up then CR river and stack him if he had a flush

as played it seems really close

the question is do we think this player's range is flush/bluff or is it wide enough that we have the best hand vs a lot of non-flush made hands? or is this line just very bluffy vs a fishy villain?

If that's the case we can almost CR for value

I guess I just haven't gotten minraised with 2nd set on a flush-completing turn vs a player with a huge preflop range enough times to know what is standard.

Either way, I dunno. Fnord pretty much summed it up.

Does he have it or not? I'm less interested in knowing what the "correct play" is and more interested in finding out what other ppl would have done in my shoes and (if possible) why.

Yeah I get it. I guess you have to know a little more about his post flop game. Sure he has pretty shitty preflop stats, but he could be fairly competent post flop - given his turn raise size i suggest not lol.

He could have 2p or a smaller set, I think you really have to cry call the river - but I would prefer b/f a blocker, as he prob calls with sets 2p also. If you think this is a bluff a high %, thats if you seen him do this shit before then its an easy check call.

If he is bluffy I don't see what value a river c/r achieves as he isn't calling with a wide enough range. Probably only the flush and a kooky straight - which both have you beat.
