    Default Yeehaw

I have been owning villain very very hard in pos, thin v bets, a few pretty standard river bluffs but haven't played any reraised pots vs him yet, mainly flatting pre.

He seems to be an ok reg, berating me constantly for a couple plays I've made over the past few days, pretty standard stats (except for a pretty low 3 bet - 5%) :

Given what he probably thinks your range is, I think calling is by far the best option.

    I'd probably fold.

If you've been owning him hard postflop, and being aggro, I'd say he probably thinks your 3bet here could still be looser than your 5% stat would indicate.

Given the dynamic, I'd bet the flop here very often, since I still expect him to 4bet JJ/QQ a good portion of the time. As played, wow never folding river ever in life. I would call 100%.

That's a recipe for value towning yourself. The times he calls with better are gonna waaaaaaay out number the times he calls with AJ/KJ or something.

I still don't think he would bet TT on the river, especially with this sizing. KJs has us beat. AJs beats us one in three times. We loose to everything else. He could be bluffing but he doesn't have too many hands without sd value in his range, can't really think of a single one.

Does he flat the 3bet oop with ATs/AJo/KJo/other garbage deepish? If he does then I guess call but I think our sizing pre (which I'm not too thrilled about) should discount those a lot.

Yeah, pre-flop you have position. You should be building a bunch a pots with your best hands here. I like re-popping it to $12ish a lot.

We don't have many hands in our range that are calling the river, especially with that sizing.

the question i was asking myself was "is he good enough to be v betting AJ in this spot?"

my answer was "I d doubt it".

Now you are totally confusing me. Then why on earth would you consider raising?

hmmm I had a great time

and I folded the river. it s definitely a weak fold, but just didn't feel like he thought I was folding. clubs got there, Qx got there and I have most of his straight draws blocked with my two K's. maybe i own myself by folding to AJ but I'm not sure that he'd be betting it that big for value vs my perceived AK... also not sure why he'd be turning a hand like 99 into a bluff on the river.

meh maybe it s bad; def seems like i m in the minority here.
