Default Though decision, did I do the right thing

$10 sng, 5 players left, 4 of us even at about 2000 and the 5th having the rest.

    Blinds 200/400.

Everyone to the button folds. Button (big stack, quite tight, good player) raises to 600, small blind folds and I call with my 10 10.

Flop comes 889 and he bets out putting me all-in(1400 something) if I call. I think for a while, I figure he don't have an over-pair just 2 overcards, (this was correct, he did have AQ). I called.

Turn came Q and I am history.

In perspective it was a good call with me being almost 80% to win the pot but thats with all info available.

I figured that this was my time to double up or leave but maybe I should have folded and tried to get in the money instead, altough just having a little more than 3 bb left. What do you think about this call? I've been thinking quite a lot and I think I did the right thing, so I'm afraid I will do the same thing again and want to know if it's correct.

I could of course also had gone all-in preflop but I felt my table image didn't make it likely for him to put down his hand. I had won many small pots and I had shown very few hands. I think I was concidered loose/aggresive at the table.

With a stack of 5bb this is an automatic push preflop and if you accidentally don't push pre-flop, with no overs it is even more automatic after the flop.

Thanks for the input, just realized that the bigstack of course was small blind, otherwise he wouldn't have bet before me on the flop. So much details to keep track of .
