I love that tingly feeling you get when you crack someone's badly played AA. :P

what an idiot limping with AA

even if he would have raised it, you woulda called with pocket 9's and hit a set.

when the second 9 appeared, it didnt occur to him that someone probably had a 9 ??

He should have folded that river for sure.

    Yes, it just feels ohh-so-right.

I don't know about that, honestly. The way I played the hand it could have looked like I was on a flush draw of some sort. Then again, I could have been on 9x or K9, I guess.

On busted flush draws, though, I see lots of people push AI on the river if they miss. My girlfriend was watching this hand as I played it and she was like, "Why the hell did you bet everything? He'll never call that." Two seconds later he did. To me, my bet screamed "OMG I AM OVERBETTING BECAUSE I MISSED MY DRAW, PLZE DON'T CALL ME."

And he called me to double me up.

Anyone who keeps calling 1,5 buyin 'bluffs' on the river after limping in with an unimproved hand is going to be a big longterm loser.

If you were playing very aggressive and had showed some earlier bluffs I could understand it, otherwise its just bad play.

Agreed, with how George played it, it's either a bluff or a monster. And from George's table image, it's not a bluff.

I don't buy the whole "table image" thing. At least not at NL25. People just aren't smart enough to realize that, "OMG, UltGeorge is a camping mofo. I bet he's picked up a really really really SUPER DUPER strong hand here because he plays like 0.0000039027% of all hands."

Personally, I think the amount you bet and the timing of your bets has much-much more to do with it. I "thought" about calling on the flop and turn (waiting a few extra seconds before I called), making it look like I was on a flush draw. When the flush didn't hit, and he bet the river...I "thought" about it again and pushed, making it look like an, "Eff it, I missed my draw but I'm not losing this hand."

    NL25 is retarded like this.

Agreed, from my recent experience of the $25NL at Party Poker, you can play as blatantly obvious as you like, the players are just too lazy/stupid to make reads on you.

Doesn't change the fact that op should have folded the river.

There' s just no better time to get quads then when some fish finds a pair of aces and doesn't realize they can lose

I do not disagree with that statement.
