This blows my mind

Fiddling around with $100 NL today after staying away from it for a week. This is, from my experience, pretty common... and this guy is sitting with more than double his original buyin... crazy. I was worried he might be calling me down with a seven, hence the weak river bet, but it was even worse than that.

And it's because of shit like that, that I end up in hands like this. I really wouldn't even consider making this call in a $50 NL game... I'd just assume they had a set and fold.

The hardest thing about the $100 tables, to me, is that everyone plays everything like the stone cold nuts. Any pair to the board, top pair no kicker, flush draws - they're all in all day long with this stuff. If you're at all passive or always make "correct" folds they will eat you alive.
