Not a terrible play at all. The pot was $53 or something at that point. If he's holding TP or Dog two pair he might call. This is a situation where you have to feel your ahead, and that your opponent just might have something decent enough to call with.

A hand like this also has the effect of tilting your opponent, who invested a lot of money and didn't get a showdown.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

he was prolly on QT, he woulda folded to any bet

Out of curiousity - playing from the Villain's perspective, and assuming that he was QT (I think that's a likely read)...

Should he reraise the flop? He'll probably end up allin that way but he's got 8 outs.
Or does he fold with 8 outs. KJ has 6 outs to improve to FH.

Does a LAG play this any differently than a TAG given the same hand and situation? Or is it more a matter of taking the gamble?

Seems like, if you're 8 outs and he's 6, it's not a good time to reraise - if you have read Hero on KJ instead of Kx, which is pretty likely given Hero's reraise on the flop.

he shouldnt have reraised, and he should have folded on the turn. and LAG and TAG play the exact same except preflop.
  6. #6
i do play very LAG but i would fold preflop.

out of position with a weak hand = danger.
