I'm curious as to why exactly you folded. Now, I'm not seeing any stack sizes so I don't know if maybe vron is almost ai, but it's only $3.85 to see the turn and with your TPTK and a drawing board I'd be thinking I'm ahead most of the time. The pot has about $12 in it and will soon have $15 ($18 if you call). Not sure if I'd lay this down for $4 with how people play hands like MPGK and OESDs at low stakes. You saved yourself some cash here but I'm not sure it's the best move.

Maybe I'm the fish and this is a leak in my game, I'm interested in what others here have to say.

It wasn't fishy of you to fold, but it WAS weak of you. At these limits you gotta call this everytime, most of the time you have these other fish beat.

Darn, and I was sitting there all proud of myself....lol.

    Geuss I was too weak.

I dont know....I just thought I was beat to a set. At the time I was thinking my only chance of winning was hitting runner runner.......

Maybe this is terribly weak thinking giving my opponents too much credit.

About stack sizes, how do the stack size of the other guy affect how I play this hand?

The stack size comes in because if you and vron had, say, 20 more in your stacks after you called the 3.85, you have to assume you're going to have to pay a lot more to get to the river and folding starts to sound better. But if vron has like 5-6 bucks total (before he calls the 3.85) you're getting such great pot odds you probably have to stay around.

On the play itself, I dunno, never played the micro limits... higher levels you have to think TPTK is no good here.

Did you have a good read on the plr?

A reraise to allin looks very strong so you gotta wonder
what he's trying to protect. He called the PFR so I might
put him on a small set at this point.

Good lay down. I don't think its weak. It's TA.

Well, my read at the time was the he was a fairly solid player.....didnt see him get his money in the pot with mediocre hands.....he later said T5 was a sentimental hand of his for some reason or another that he always plays........

Not sure whether to believe that or if he is a complete fish.........so while the hand was being played I thought he was solid, now...not so sure.

Also, I was the big stack at the table having 2.5 Buy-ins......I know that vron wasnt very close to being AI as he was sitting at about a buy-in before the hand began.

I am still unsure if this was the right play at these stakes in the long run......but I also think it was good to develop the discipling to laydown TPTK for when I can advance in stakes.
