    Default Odds Application

This dude was pissed, but it looks to me like I had the odds on every street. Almost even odds on the flop re-raise, and then after I picked up more outs on the turn, the implied odds looked good. It just felt wrong though. I almost raised the turn, but I figured since I was getting decent implied odds and I put this guy on a set, I didn't think there was much chance of him folding. What would you do?

    preflop call is bad...

with more callers before you i might try it.

I like the flop raise, trying to take control of the hand, after all he could just be followup betting.

The turn gives you juicy options, but the odds are not quite there, however, throw in implied odds and its on the line, depends, this is the kinda play that creates alot of variance, but has more potential profit.

Preflop call is bad, but I like the rest.

I agree that the first flop call is bad, but on the second one, I was getting odds to call. Pot was laying me 3:1 which is just right for a flush draw, as I understand it. Am i wrong?

he never raised the flop. he called a pot sized bet and a 3x raise.

yes cause youre assuming a free turn card.

you do all this without even a nut flush draw. what if you hit on the turn? your hand can easily be conterfeitted w/ a 4 flush on the river.

youre chasing an extremely vulnerable hand w/ terrible odds to hit.

on the flop you have 19% chance to hit on the turn.
on the turn you have 35% chance to hit on the river.

not once did you ever have odds to be in this hand. fold preflop. fold flop. fold turn.

then again, he went a bit nuts with TPJK.

never had the odds, should have folded preflop. not nearly enough people in the hand to be calling an utg raise with not even a suited connector.

calling the raise with 68s was a bad play, it was 3xbb and you werent even a blind

i dont think anyone is trying to be harsh here, just trying to help
old total profit: about $450 or so

goal before school starts (8/20): $1k more
    progress: $194
