Default I Know I play awful cards after flop but pre-flop comments?

The villan here was an idiot, made all his money rivering flushes, paiting up his Ax etc. Thats why I called his flop re-raise. I know this was bad as unless prepared to go all in had to fold.

Would appreciate thoughts on my pre-flop play up to his re-raise as i'm still a little shakey on 10 10 JJ ......

TT is not a good overpairs hand with 3 hands ahead of you and from middle position. I would have limped that hand and tried to make the set or overpairs on a rags board.

Given the number of hands after the flop, you got to give him credit for TP when he leads off out of position. Fold it right there.

I have to think you're beat by a J on the flop here. And if he had AQ/AK, then by checking the turn to him after the reraise, you let him use his position to muscle you off your best hand. But I think you probably prefer a better opportunity to win a pot like that, I mean you weren't heads up...

I actually like your PFR, here's why: it's hard enough to beat 1 hand with 10s, much less 3 limpers. 10s are better preflop than postflop, so play them like it. I just would have liked to see a little more clout on that bet, maybe like $2.50-3. Chase out the suited gappers and other shit. And I also like that you lead out with a bet on the flop, and it's a decent size. Then he reraises (min.) and then follows up on the turn with a 2x flop size bet. When the villian escalates the bet like that from position, I usually fold, unless I have a solid read based on previous play.

With 10s and Js, if they're not overcards when the flop comes, they usually don't go too far. That is why I advocate for playing them harder early. Be happy with taking down modest pots early instead of getting involved in call down games where someone very likely has paired the overcard on the board.
In answer to your question... it depends...

The whole point in betting that flop with TT is to find out if they are good. When the villain raises you you should be done with the hand and fold.

Yes I know it was bad play would normally have let it go but was getting greedy to lay a beat on him after watching him chase like mad for half an hour! But no doubt he had it here. I raised it caus as you can see it was hard to get a folder at the table and if they'd hit I'd have won a HUGE pot also to set up a stab at a bluff if they missed (as I tried then went to the dark side); I prob wouldnt be sitting here typing this but have retired to Hawai or something! I'll play 10 10 + like this and limp lower, maby raise 99 on the button. Thanks for the input!

Preflop theres about 5$ in the pot. The flop looks raggy and you bet just over half, and he min raised you...If you say your read on villain was such an idiot, i say either push or fold. A min raise to me says "I think you are just trying to rep the flop but really you don't have crap." When someoen makes a big hand like top two pair or a set, and they have position, wouldn't he just smooth call? Even if he does have a J, a push here might take the pot if he thinks you have AA-QQ or J better kicker. You make the call and then what on the turn? If anything but another 10 comes, you're checking, and he's taking the pot from you.

A push here is a bit aggressive but i hate min raises.
