    Default Big River Raise

I can't decide if i played this hand correctly at all, should i have bet harder, should i have made a crying call?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    Hero ($221.50)
    UTG+1 ($199.80)
    MP1 ($76)
    MP2 ($546.80)
    MP3 ($143.80)
    CO ($324.40)
    Button ($265)
    SB ($214.60)
    BB ($200)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J, A.
    Hero raises to $6, 2 folds, MP2 calls $6, 1 fold, CO calls $6, 3 folds.

    Flop: ($21) Q, A, J (3 players)
Hero bets $8, MP2 folds, CO calls $8.

    Turn: ($37) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $12, CO calls $12.

    River: ($61) K (2 players)
Hero bets $12, CO raises to $36, Hero ...

your turn/river bets are super weak and while i like your attempt at blocking bets, i play the same as villain regardless of cards on the river.

i think i can call the river because you only have to be right one in 3 times to be breakeven with the call.

you gotta bet the flop way harder and i think you can go ahead and check the river.

Bet the flop harder, bet the turn harder, check river if he is still in the hand and then decide what to do or just bet half the pot, if he re-raises I would possibly fold.

    Just my $0.02

definitely fold the river...3 to a flush and 4 to a straight and you dont have top 2

    himself fucker.
I think it's clear that you can't call.

You can, however, go AI which is what I would do if I have any respect for my op.

I don't think i ever check raise all in, in fact it's rare that i get all my chips in unless i know i'm almost certain to win, i think this is a pretty advanced thing to do and relies on your opponent worrying about my cards more than his own. How often do you use this move?

I've been thinking about this some more, does someone want to explain the all in strategy a bit, as it seems to me that he is obviously representing strength with the re-raise after percieving weakness and is likely to call if he has much of anything but will fold a bluff, do i want to be putting in $170 against a bluff, wouldn't it be cheaper to call to see if he's bluffing or are we assuming he'll fold a straight for fear of the flush.

So is it not just me that finds a push a bit unpalatable?
