How to deal "Heads Up"??

I have read some conflicting information regarding how to deal when a game becomes heads up.

I know that the player on the button is the small blind and obviously acts first pre flop and acts last in the remaining rounds. However, I am not sure who the first card gets dealt to. My logic tells me that the other player (not the button) gets the first card, however I have read on a couple of sites that the button gets the first card. Can somebody set me straight?

button always gets cards last regardless of blinds

SB/Button = last cards, first to act preflop
BB = last to act preflop, first to act postflop
