    Default gettin paid

Has anyone noticed that when you cash out you seem to start getting a lot of bad beats? I was just wondering if its just me or if this happens to others?

    thanks later

Usually people cash out as a result of having a good run. There are several reasons why your "luck may change" after a cashout (and none of them are sinister).

    1) Your success can make you overconfident. You stop respecting your opponents raises, you chase draws marginally against the odds, you slightly loosen up with your starting hands. After all you can't lose.

    2) Your bankroll has just dropped. You need to make sure you are still playing at the correct limits. Your play can change subtely if you are using "scared money".

    3) Your good run of cards can simply come to it's natural end. If there were no bad beats then it would be a terribly predictable and profitless game. The bad beats are what keep the bad players coming back.
