    Default My LAG hands

I am not a LAG player at all, but I do occasionally mix in a hand here or there and I think its quite profitable given my (normally) tight table image. Am I spewing chips here?

    #1:
    Button ($55.10)
    Hero ($109.90)
    BB ($157.35)
    UTG ($100)
    MP ($199.25)
    CO ($98.40)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, A. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
4 folds, Hero (poster) raises to $2.5, BB raises to $4, Hero calls $2.

    Flop: ($10) A, 2, 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $9.5, Hero raises to $25, BB calls $15.50.

    Turn: ($60) 5 (2 players)
    Hero bets $25

    Results in white below:

    , BB folds.

    Final Pot: $85

    No showdown. Hero wins $85.

This guy had definitely switched gears as soon as we got shorthanded, he was raising and reraising everything. He had bet me off a couple of pots in the last few hands. He hesitated a long time before making the flop bet but I was pretty sure he was either on a weak Ace or air and trying to look stronger than he was.

    SB ($61.32)
    BB ($96)
    Hero ($100.30)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9, 9. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, BB raises to $9, Hero calls $7.

    Flop: ($20.50) A, A, T (2 players)
BB bets $12, Hero raises to $25, BB calls $13.

    Turn: ($70.50) J (2 players)
    BB checks, Hero bets $25

    Results in white below:

    , BB folds.

    Final Pot: $95.50

    No showdown. Hero wins $95.50.

In both hands my turn bets should probably have been a bigger but I wanted to make it look like I wanted a call and there are no real draws for the opponents.

I'm new and not to good short-handed(yet) so bear with me please. LAG stands for loose-aggressive right? Why is either of these hands loose short handed? I would think A9s with four folds infront of you would be a good hand too blind steal with and good to see a flop too?

Same with poket nines. That isn't still tight when you are down to three hands?

Its the post flop play that I am referring too. In the first hand I was betting a draw very aggressively and in the second hand I was representing a hand that I didn't have. So I guess its not really loose, but definitely aggressive.

I definitely think that the first hand should have been more at the turn - that way if he puts you AI you can make calling the rest of your stack +EV.

The second hand, I think that turn bet was good. If your reads are on, then he's got nothing and is worrying about you having the ace. I think that's how you would play that if you actually had the ace - you're not going to check and wait for a flush to hit, but you need to get some value out of the hand.
