I'd say you are probably right, i was most likely semi tilted from busting a stack with the straight a few mins earlier... Probably thought "wow look at all the damn money going into this pot, i'm gonna be back up again" and didnt even really think it through

Yeh i might have to go with this, particular in deeper money.. perhaps a good hand to bust the short stacks with when they get excited and push top pair weak kicker
