Dealing poker is a very good job. I used to deal craps, blackjack, etc. and had to pool the tips with all of the other dealers. Now I keep my own every night. It's working out very good. | |

Also, if you are in early position, and you have a patient dealer...watch everyone look at their cards and notice how carefully they protect them. A lot of people will hold their cards up and you can tell they just can't wait to toss them in the muck when it's their turn. On the other hand, there are other people that very carefully put their card protector on their cards...they won't be folding preflop. You can get a pretty good idea how many people are going to see the flop, even from early position. | |
