    I'm folding preflop.

If I get to that point on the river, I'm calling. I'm paying off a flush or full house right there.

Why do you call? What hand do you put him on?

Pocket 7s or 3s (not likely) would play just like this (hoping you were on the flush draw and hoping to get reraised on the river).

    Other possibilities - flush, 79s, A3s...

Pretty good range, about half of which you beat - tough call here I probably crying call it and pray :P

Question - what would you value bet on the river if you made your flush?
What would you bet if you had a boat and hoped the other player hit a flush and you wanted them to reraise you? Or would you check it and hope to reraise their bet?

The thing about this hand is that is looks like you made a continuation bet on the flop which was called and you checked the turn like it failed and you were bluffing(which you were) then you hit a straight and he comes out betting like you should expect when you checked the turn. You put yourself in a spot where you should call i think.

    Default Re: Call or fold?

I would bump it up another $32 if I think I can fold to a re-raise. If I got to see a showdown, it's an easy call.
