Your horrific run of late may have a lot to do with what you display here. Your river call is a long term losing one. I know that sounds weird, but most of the time when someone pushes really hard on the river after you show turn aggression on a board like that you're beat. You probably had a maniac read on the guy, so your call here was ok I guess. I guarantee you if I ever pushed the river like that after you raised the turn... a) I think you have a queen or a straight, and b) I have 55 TT KK KQ QT or J9 AJ.

Did you know that many hands were ahead of you when you called?
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

NL Playas don't pay attention to that math stuff or putting people on hands

As weird as the river play was, the turn play has me wondering WTF is the hero trying to do besides make a cute play?

Lucky he wasnt you then, thanks 4 feedback. I appreciate that when the board pairs a flush can be a sucker hand. I think if he had hit full house on flop or turn he would have gotten more greedy and pushed back more. if he had flopped 2 pair he would have raised me there (probably). Thats why I bet 75c its enough that it scares off people who arnt holding (normally) but isnt enough for people with big hands. he calls so I put him on K and am actually ready to let go until hello Q on turn. We are heads up what are odds he has other Q, pretty low. I check to see where he goes and he throws out small bet, maby K, I raise and he calls. Maby he has Q but no re-raise so probably not. Four flush on turn and crazy bet from him. I dont think he has 2 pair on flop so I am left with 55 and I dont think he would still be there with that. Also if he had full house he would probably value bet not thump all i had been playing pretty tight. He has KJclubs - call

Also as it doesnt count for much as bad players can get good hands he really wasnt that good, any club was a possability. I just didnt feel a full in my gut this time normally at 25 you get these bets raising you weakly begging you to call, didnt happen on the turn or river.

Or maby I just lucked out

Nice avatar by the way, pure filth.

you gain no info when you min raise on the turn, you should never min raise, he is stupid for not seeing the check min raise as strength

Not to be a jerk, but J9 and AJ aren't ahead here (save for Jc 9c).

That said, it's still sound advice to be weary on the river here. I'd likely cry and call - depending on read. Either that or get some info on the turn, that'd be awful helpful. Probably wouldn't have underbet the river so drastically as well - he was probably just playing at the weakness you showed there...which would be a good trap if you were sure to be ahead.
Up my bankroll - buy Saints Row.

Every time I've ever called that bet, I was beat.

Every time I made that bet and was called, I busted the Ac.

You're not a jerk at all. I'm a jerk for not realizing the board was four suited and he had an Ace of suit

Well you and villan have something in common then! (joke) But seriously I was thinking about this hand today in my dull dull work and 55 could well have been there at 25NL. I think I probably could have chosen a better spot to play a big hand with him; patience is a problem for me.
