Toddh1234 is a loose little bugger, playing 50-65% of his hands. He tends to ignore kickers and hang on to his top pair for dear life. Plus, when he gets a bigger stack, he tends to try to be godzilla and bluff every second hand that he's in. When he's at $100 or less, weak bets = weak holdings. Those are my reads. What do you think was the result and what do you think he was holding?

I know, I know. I should not be calling raises with Q9s. The table was so loose however. I felt that if I did hit a nice draw, that I would get paid for it. Plus, I figured that if toddh1234 got tied to his hand, that I would get paid.

I have a few questions regarding this hand.
    1) Should that Jack have scared me? After all, AJ and AQ now own me, leaving me to beat only AK and AT, which are somewhat probable.
    2) Do you think that $50 bet was a bit much, leading to that situation where the only hand that calls me is a hand that beats me? Or do you think it was an appropriate value bet given what you think he has.
    3) What do you think toddh1234 has?

    Forgot to add.
Right before hand 1 (like the exact hand before), this hand happened. He'd started to give me too much respect at the table, so I thought I'd pop this on him.

I think he has trips on the first hand. Either 5s or Ts. Unless he had AA/KK. But, I'm pretty sure he has trips.

Really? You don't think that he'd reraise at some point with a set? Say...the flop? or the turn?

Hand #1 you ae getting paid off by KQ I think your play is very strong here I play my AK the same way.

Hand #2 I like your play all the way untill the river, the jack scares me a little but I bet here to, I would personally bet the same amount you did on the turn, but on the river I would bet $25. $50 is a big bet I'm used to value betting but if you can get away with betting that much go for it. I think AQ is an almost impossible holding considering the way he has played, the only possibilies are AK, AJ, AT, you have 2 of them beat, but I suspect he mucks AT at the end of it all.

Hand #3 Those are my favorate kind of plays, taking advantage of weak meaningless bets and winnings uncontested pots.

On another notee, your play in general seems to be very strong. I dont mind calling raises with suited connectors myslef (q9s, t8s) I have much respect for the lag players.

Before I post the results, I'd like a few more lines on my play, if y'all don't mind. Boondock, Smackinyaup, Fnord: I'm calling y'all out.

    Thanks.
