    Depends on reads. Your raise is fine if opp cbets a lot.

    he bet less than he did pf on the flop, i somewhat felt obligated to raise him with any 2 here. is this line of thinking flawed?

    You're betting 6$ to win ~7$. It should work more than 45% to be +EV. I'm not sure it is. Weak betting after agression pf is mostly done by passive calling stations or by smart players who are looking for a induced bluff. Either way, you're not going to get a fold.

    I like it. I think you take this pot down quite a bit in 25NL. Villian feels obligated to bet, but has nothing so he underbets the pot. I am more likely to see this at 25NL than a smart opponent inducing a bluff.
    I like this play specifically with that flop. He re-raised showing you his overpair. KK or AA. You dropped the hand like you should.

    i make this play all the time, and it probably works 75%. played perfectly.
