Mixed feelings about my line here. I don't think I'd do this to a stronger player.

I don't think he has an ace. I also don't think he can call that without being ahead (he needs a set, and I don't think he does), so I say he's pretty much going to instafold if he believes you one bit.

I'd make a smaller raise for value here.

The only spot I see him calling here behind is with kicker trouble. But I really don't think he has an ace. But such a large overbet isn't getting called by KK, QQ IMHO.

It's not an over-bet, per PLHE rules, it's pot. Also, I wanted to put a little "I'm making you play for all your chips" into it to illicit the "fuck you I call" reaction I was going for.

I think a lot of posters here drasticly under-estimate the ability of our opponents to make really stupid plays. Particularly the random guys that drop in with short buys.

All that being said, I think there might be better ways to get it all in...

I used to go for those kinds of plays a lot, but I've been slowing down recently and making value bets when I don't think I'm weak. I don't know, it seems like even a moron could figure out his QQ wasn't good here. I'd expect him to call a minraise or a bit more, though.

I love that play on the turn vs a flush draw. I get a lot of calls there, believe it or not.

On what street? I'm not all that keen on check/raising the min. We're at least taking it to $20.

It's kinda fustrating really. I keep making bets these fish shouldn't call and they call anyway. Then they'll get really aggressive, I'll call down and see all sorts of crap. If this keeps happening, I'll just have to take all this money and move up to 1/2 NL.

Yeah, I personally like the guys that call down when I have a hand, and fold to cbets when I miss.

My favorite players are the ones who call the raise and re-reraise all-in with something like J2 (I pick J2 because I saw it once). Talk about donators.
