Ok, i know i shouldve bet out when i hit my Queen, perhaps even the flop with a pretty strong draw, but i'm not asking about that.. the question is of whether calling is the go here at the river, seems pretty weird to fold a flush heads up, but i may be an inexpierienced idiot

Later it became apparent that this was an easy fold because the flop reraise very deffinately is a pp with this guy.. but then again, i've heard people say that they hardly let go of top pair HU let alone a flush (as in heard from players i respect, not johny herring from timbuktu)

I know you weren't asking for pre-river opinions, but:
    1. raise the flop; you have two overcards that are probably live, and a diamond draw. You have an equity edge especially if this flop didn't help him. Raise. If he re-raises calculate your pot odds and probably just call, because you have to start figuring out if he has a pocket pair of some sort, and how big it is (may kill your overcard outs).

    2. Raise the turn, unquestionably. You now have top pair plus your flush draw, and he has twice bet out like a weak little punk. I raise the size of the pot here and let him play chicken with my hand if he wants to.

As far as the hand as played, I don't know what I would do on that river either. My experience in general is that a massive river overbet is very likely to be either a missed draw or a monster trying to get paid. Which unfortunately leaves you holding the bag of trying to figure out which one he has this time. With a flush in heads up, I don't know, I guess I probably call this most of the time. Hard hand to get away from without a specific read on the guy. But your actions on previous streets set up this dilemma.

raise preflop. always raise preflop or fold imo
bet the queens when you hit. You have so many outs going to the river you want your money in the pot and the other guy calling
river. its HU and he caught a river full house while you have the flush. Its unlucky. im pushing there.

I enjoyed his decent sized raise pre-flop and then min bets on turn and flop. They are so weak you need to lay the hammer down there... preferably flop, but if not, the turn... and if he calls a turn AI on that board then he's just horrible
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place
Tbags [observer]: another scumbag gets there on this site lol

As I said I did know this, but ok, point taken.. dont screw it up on the previous streets and you wont have a hard decision on the river.. I actually thought he may have a pissy flush draw, and i kinda wanted him to catch it so i could destack him.. looking back i can see that he most likely didnt have that, but hey.. i've learnt, i wont make that mistake again.

Yeah, don't be afraid to [smartly] raise it up! Especially at this level, the fish will call.
    If I had a hammer
    I'd drop in the morning
    I'd drop in the evening..

well i did, and then he reraised, so i figured i might have some implied odds.. but if I re-reraise him then at this level, he's shoving his pp AI.. and AI with QJ doesnt really appeal to me
