What is to be accomplished by playing the $0.01/$0.02; $0.02/$0.04; $0.10/$0.20; $0.25/$0.50 and the like?

I recently took up a challenge from some friends that I could not consistently make money at these levels over a 5,000 hand history and starting with a $50.00 BR. I have almost completed this bet and am down about $4.00. Looking at a graph of the history is a lot like looking at a Richter printout of a 9.2 earthquake in progress.

It is apparent they were quite correct. So, again; what is to be learned here other than STAY AWAY? Oh, and that the house will make about $150+ in rake...
