    Default KK Play

I think I played this hand just fine, even though I lost. I couldn't put him on the cards he held. But if I did something wrong, I'd love to hear it from you.

Looks standard. His min raise on the turn basically tells you AQ but the pot is so big that you have to call since you have outs (10).

I've been buying in at $50 to NL$100 tables since recently moving up, so I often have short money. Do you think this is bad, Fnord?

If I had $135 instead of $35, do you see the hand going differently?

I'm just looking for any little spot to improve my game.

It's not even really a min-raise.. it's the same as a push because hero can't cover a min-raise. AK could make this play.

    Nothing wrong with the play..

Nope. It makes difficult decisons easier because you have less money behind and no longer have to make the really tough deep money laydowns. If you can still steal small pots, you're in good shape.

The flip side is that you no longer have as good of implied odds on some calls, particularly against predictable opponents with deep money who take over-pairs too far or idiots with deep money who take just about anything too far. You also can't threaten post-flop tight players with their stack by putting in raises that commit them if called/re-raised.

If I could have a constant stack size (adding and subtracting after every hand) I probably would play 50bb deep in many games.
