Turn Fold?

I think I should have folded this on the turn. That's pretty much why I checked it.

That lebowski guy is a habitual minraiser in EP, and it gets me trapped in these big pots. Maybe I should just start pushing if he does that, and save the trouble. Might get a call.

He's playing this exactly like AJ, I don't see why you fold here. You should've raised the turn here, or bet it initially. How are you supposed to put him on a better hand here? I mean you have to attempt to get a read on whether he has the flush or not on the turn. There's too much in the pot here to fold the river.

On the river there's four clubs up. I thought he played it like a set, not like AJ. I could see calling with only three clubs out on the river.

Do you usually bet $25 into a $20 pot on the flop with an overpair? Against KK QQ you have two more streets to build the pot and a smaller bet will keep those hands(especially QQ) in the pot. A set is delighted to face that bet. A flush draw on the flop was unlikely here, but you are overcutting the odds for a draw to call, with this bet a draw needs to either fold or push here. Do you call the push?
You are also making it very obvious that you have an overpair, do you automatically now assume that a call means a set?

What do you want to accomplish with your flop bet?

One more question. Do you continuation bet AK AQ like you did here? Do you reraise a min raise in the same way with AK AQ?

I bet the pot. I don't overbet pots unless they're tiny. There were three callers of 8 apiece, plus a small blind and big blind. So the pot was 25.50 minus rake.

I want to take it down or get someone in the pot with a worse hand. Are you saying to not pot the flop? What if I only had one caller and the pot was $12, do you pot it then?

I continuation bet AK and the like about the same amount, but sometimes more like 2/3 pot. Depends on the hand/pot size/flop. Reraise? I got flat called. Depending on pot size/reads I might reraise with a missed AK, but generally I let it go.

I like to bet 2/3 of the pot. If the pot is a significant fraction of my or my opponets stacks I might even bet half the pot. I think potting the flop works best if you have an aggressive LAG style when you are likely to get calls from a wide variety of hands.

The absolutely worst line is to pot the flop then planning to give up the hand if it gets called.

I think I'd have to call, but I wouldn't like it. I feel like he's full.

I posted this hand wondering if you guys thought the same.

When it's such a big pot, I'm really wary of guys flat-calling a bet like that.
