    Default Steep Price, but worth a shot?

    Play this any different? I realize now that I could have bluffed the turn or river, but I wasn't sure if they had a made flush already. Plus, I'm not sure he folds anyway.

    I wouldn't call that flop. AI or fold.

    That flop is a fold, TPTK no good with that action. Then again its been a while since I have played $25NL.

    Edit: didnt notice you had the Ah

    hmmm your clearly beat but with a nut flush draw its somewhat worth playing. If you have a read these guys are able to lay down hands, maybe push but thats very risky.

    With 2 people in the hand, your flush draw is somewhat worth it, and you still have a minor hope that your queen would be good(maybe 15% of the time).

    You have 30% to beat the 99 according to tracker, so by assuming the other guy calls down, a call is pretty decent move, especially if you think you have implied odds.

    However folding is also a very good alternative....

    call = worst play possible

    It is AI or fold. folding because you have no odds to call, AI because you might have some folding equity and you would get paid off if you get the nut flush and thus get descent odds, and it still might get worse hands like K high flush draw to call you.

    I am, however, fold here given the action in front of my (havent watched the results yet)

    I usually don't chase these but I knew the other guy would call - giving me the odds. Both guys were loose and the table in general was very loose with putting money in. I didn't think I could push both off the hand. The great thing is he check down so it didn't cost me more.

    I think fold is the best play too since the pot was small to begin with.

    I push AI here for the same reasons mentioned. This is a golden flop for you with TPTK nut flush draw.

    Cash game vs Tournament

    I don't agree with an all in here in cash game. I personally would have folded, but it's not a terrible call either. I'm usually all about using fold equity, but the fact is there's not enough to be had in this spot. It's a cash game. Your fold equity is diminished. Push or fold is a default mindset that has no place in some situations. This is one of them. You are caught in a bad fold equity position. You simply don't push when behind if you have next to no fold equity in cash game. It's a leak.

    As it is you were caught in a sandwich with a nut flush draw. This is a spot I seldom hang around. If I do I call and try to save some money if I miss, and maybe see a free river as it happened. Mostly I fold. I'm never pushing here in cash game. You get called with a better hand too often.

    Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
