First hand I wouldn't raise AQo out of the small blind, but as far as the river is concerned, I like a check/call line. Let villian bluff his busted draw. Blocking bet is fine too. Check/calling in hopes of villian bluffin his busted draw is a risky play, but can be very profitable if you have the right read. Heres an example:

For the 2nd hand, why are you slowplaying on the flop if villian is a known calling station, especially with a flush draw out. The general rule against calling station is don't bluff em, and don't slowplay em. I throw down the hammer and let villian chase with horrible odds. Pot or 3/4 pot on every street.

^That scares me. Not sure how i play the river after that. Does this villain table talk during all his hands? I think i may check/call the river. If he bets a value-bettish looking size, you can showdown your TPTK cheap. If he over bets it is usually a bluff and you can make the call pretty confidently i think. If you lead out and he has you beat and value raises you here, say to 18$, you are calling 12$ into a 28$ pot or so with TPTK...that is a tougher decision. Depending on villains table talk habbits in prior hands i might play this the same *shrug*

Hand 2 i agree with Bdawg. Why slowplay the calling station? This is exactly the flop you want against him. If he's holding a 4 or a flush draw you will get paid off. Calling stations bluff less. Don't let him draw cheap.

Hand 1: The table talk did scare me as I was going to bet more on the river. I figured I wouldn't give him a chance to bluff me off the hand where I felt ahead OR let him off the hand cheap since I felt I was ahead. I mean, look at the board. I put him on KQ or something. I raise AQ regardless of position without a raise in front of me. I'm ahead of most limping hands and I need to raise preflop often enough to get action on AA/KK.

Hand 2: I wanted to show weakness and give somebody else a chance to bet with two other people in the hand. I considered check-raising but figured I could play this slow and give them some confidence. There is a flush draw but I have outs and I'm looking to win more than a tiny pot. I'm actually hoping somebody has the 4 in case another comes out - I can destack them with the higher boat. Since the calling station saw me check-call, he's more apt to stay until the river calling bets. I'm just wondering if I could have got more from him possibly by betting higher or pushing but I took the sure money.

Anyway, first hand he had QJ. Second hand he had A4. They both called.
