What a difference a year makes. Shaq can't be replaced but having Phil Jackson back is nice.

What's with Smush Parker? He went 8/14 for 21 points against the Suns and 8/12 for 20 points against the Nuggets. It looks like he could be a force this year.

Yeah, they're looking strong - but young. Smush is looking good and so is Kobe and Lamar. I'm glad they're keeping Cook for (at least) another year too. I'm hopeful for a good season but I'm not expecting too much from them for their revamped squad needs some time to gel. But yeah, having the best coach ever could prove to be the whole difference.

Smush was impressive. I went to the game last night, it was a lot of fun even though the Lakers lost. They did show some promise though, it's definitely another rebuilding type of year, but it'll be fun to watch.

Smush is for real but lakers are by no means guaranteed a seed for the playoffs. If anything i think they are gunna fight for 8th. Lamar is looking ok cept for his shitty fg%, he needs to chill with that.
