A fun little line

    Default A fun little line

Typical 100NL passive table with a mixture of loose and tight. I've been playing my usual sTAgg game and taken down several pots with flop bets.

Loose player limps, I raise from LP with a couple cards that look like they might make a hand, BB sometimes calls.

Flop is an Ace with a couple other random cards that don't do much to define it. I missed my hand horribly.

Checked to me and I check behind planning to fold to a turn bet or c-bet if checked to again.

I've yet to see someone call this turn bet.

You must be playing different sites than I.
No limit Hold'Em - hours of boredom followed by moments of sheer terror.

100NL at a SportBook. Plenty of gamble there. However, there are guys you just can't bluff. They tend to bust within 3 or 4 orbits of sitting down though...

How many callers did you get? I think the line is fine. Just make sure you check your TPTK/overpair sometimes after raising preflop.

I don't see why this is better than cbetting the flop?

I sometimes save a bet. Also it creates a mix up. If I c-bet EVERY flop I'm expoitable.

Never read any stickies or announcements
I use this line myself sometimes, especially when my c-bets don't have any respect. Ideally I like to set this move up with a respectable hand on a relatively harmless board (ie AK on K27 rainbow flop) so a check behind doesn't tip people off that I'm giving up the hand.

Being checked to twice in a row is a huge sign of weakness so you can often take it down then.

I leave it to their imagination. If I lose a random HU raised pot then so be it.
